When we awoke this morning, the place was still a tip, and it wasn't just our first impressions that were wrong. We checked out of the campsite and relocate to one that had been rejected as we had been given a bad review by some people in Cacares, the places could not have been more different. Whilst it is close to town and there is town traffic, this is about the only draw back. (Being close to two means access to the bus service). There is a free wifi service at the reception so we can get blogs upto date and emails sent where needed, as well as checking on various important bits of information with respect to flying to the UK.
News came through that we have rented out one of our properties in Basingstoke from the end March, rental prices don't appear to have been effected as much by the properties crash and the rent will cover the all the expenses in Basingstoke at the moment. The other property is up for sale and we are waiting to see what happens with respect to that.
We had a quiet day cleaning the motorhome and removing the thousands of flies on the windscreen and the grime that had built up built up on the mirrors and cab front over the last two weeks of travelling and had slowly been reducing the visiblity to that of an old 1970's motorcycle helmet visor.
