Cordoba is a city of great contrasts. We had arrived yesterday and caught the bus into town. We got off in the centre of the new town walked along the shopping streets and through a palm tree lined promenade until we reach on of the gates into the old city. Goodbyes to my father having been said and the family seen, I returned to Spain yesterday evening. Rox had spent all week in one location and was ready to move so today we drove inland to Cordoba. We plan to spend a couple of nights here, and as the site did not have Wifi or any form of Internet connection we went without AC electrics and we plan to live off the solar panel and batteries, which is a saving of 10 euros for the time which we plan to stop for.
