Yesterday we spent the day travelling between Cordoba and Granada to get to a very pleasent campsite with a view of the Sierra Nevadas in the distance. We booked tickets for the La Alhambra at the campsite in order to get a suitable slot to see the Palacio Nazaries. This mornin we arose and had a slow morning as our slot for the Palacio was not until 4:30pm. As such we had lunch on the campsite and caught the bus into town, changed buses and made our way up to the La Alhambra. It is a massive complex of gardens, Fortifications, and Palaces. The carvings are stunning and the various different architecture designs of Carlos the V and the Moors.
We left the palace and decended into town, where the children were feed kebabs (at their request). At this point we had are first shower of rain for since Salamanca.
We returned to the campsite late but Granada had been explored.
