From Briviesca to Burgos it turned out we needed to cross another mountain pass. We decided that we would still to the motorways (as the snow ploughs were out) and it provided to be a sensible choice. The snow came down and the wind picked up leading drifting on the side of the road, but the roads remained clear (unlike the UK today based the reports that we had heard about the snow falling in the UK). The trucks were beginning to get effected by the cross winds. We came down from the pass and the snow reduced to a slight dusting and we followed the directions to the campsite. THese directions turned out to be impossible to follow, but by good luck and a nature need to find a location to sleep we came across the signs to the campsite. and we pitched for the night. A few more flurrys of snow fell, but it kept melting away. We put up the covers, turned up the heating, put the children to bed and watched the Pirates of Carribean -- Dead Man's Chest.
