So I want to blog about food ...
I haven't even had pasta yet!! We had a nice pizza on the first night, which by Aussie standards was probably quite plain. Flavor was fresh and delicious in it's simplicity.
Then yesterday I felt like a salad for lunch. We had been out touring on a double decker bus and the weather was really quite warm. Luckily a friendly Aussie lady had some sunscreen. Anyway back to food ...

Lesson number one - salad in Rome is not like salad in Australia!

So last night (after an exhausting three hour nap) we wandered the streets looking for something a little more than a pizza shop. We ended up at the Trattoria in the photo.

We had melon and proscuitto for entree then I had the most yummy roast lamb. Mouth wateringly delicious! And I also enjoyed Italian sauvignon called Friulo

Breakfast here at Hotel Trevi is catering for all nationalities. The continental brekky is good and even Bodytrim compliant!!!
