We booked a couple of tours for today. There was no way I was going to come all the way to France and not see Monet's Gardens. There was a tour that visited Versailles in the morning then the gardens in the afternoon. We had heard from one of our tour guides that Versailles is considered the most lavish and beautiful of all royal palaces…

re: Rome, ItalyJonsey Good to see Ross hasn't lost that sixth sense of his, that absolute ability to get lost in a straight line! Why wouldn't they be accepting of how many kids you guy's have?? Don't they have extended families?? It's probably got more to do with the number of ex's Ross has - Ha ha ha ! Have fun, keep us informed!
re: Rome, ItalySue Blum Exciting taxi drives just add to the memories!! Italian roads often have many varied names for the same actual road...our GPS could never find our hotel without ringing first and finding out another name!! Isn't the fountain beautiful...I could sit by it for ages...hope they have finished the fountain renovations in Piazza Navone for you....2 weren't working when we were there....if you get the the Trevi early before breakfast you will beat the crowds!! xx
