Arghhh I just wrote a long message and then the line went dead and it deleted itself. Anyway, what I was saying was that I had finally managed to post the blog I was struggling with earlier.

Sunday lunch was indeed tomatoes and rice, but with peas and cabbage added - I am pleased that our culinary efforts are having some influence! After lunch we went for a long walk out of town with John Baptist, Rev. John's right hand man. He is a Catholic so he took us to see the Catholic Cathedral, which is pretty big and impressive. We had to go bush to get there so it was quite an interesting walk. He also showed us the seminary where he used to study before he decided he did not want to be a priest after all.

What is all this I have heard about floods? Dougie says the barn is in dire straights and Rev. John says Gloucestershire is under water? We are quite cut off here so all news is exciting.

Better go as having written all of this twice I have been on here for quite some time and Charlie is waiting.
