Hello, Plans are always changing. Like for example: last night we were going to get on a train. . . but only one of us had a seat because we were on a waitlist. So that didn't happen. So now we're staying at a guesthouse called Grace Home. Really nice! Two balconies and a roof! We saw two monkeys riding on a bike! One of the monkeys had stripes on its fur and the other one had a rock 'n roll jacket on!
We went to the worst bus station in the world! I had a horrible time. Back and forth, back and forth. And the worst part of it was that we didn't get on a bus. But tomorrow we're going to go in a car to Ramnagar. I am feeling so much better and I finished my pills/medicine! It was easy the last time! We went to an awesome park! It was beautiful! There were a lot of flowers that there are in Maine.
People like to squeeze my face and shake my hand. They are really nice. On the Metro there are the "women only" cars. Sometimes the metro is above ground. Really high up! Much higher than the cars and you have a really good view. I miss home but I'm glad I'm on a trip.

Steffany Hi Romy. Well, guess what? it has been snowing here in England the last two days. It rarely snow's I can't tell if i should be happy or mad. It should be spring time! I love your pictures and your blog. That fruit looks lovely. and i like that people are kind to you. when you were a baby and we traveled in Itlay people always touched your face. "bambina" they would say and give you gellato or a sweet smile. i hope your mom, pop, and you are feeling better. Jack misses you and looks for you in the guest bedroom. We are visiting friends and the have made a toasty fire to warm ourselves. We will spend the night and I will take Jack to a meeting with me tomorrow. I hope he can sit still long enough. Maybe he will take toes for me. Love to you all. Misss you. Xx x x

Liz Bowen Hello, Romy! Penny told me about your blog. It's absolutely fabulous! I love reading your descriptions of everything.... you on an elephant, monkeys on bicycles, parrots and dogs, mud huts. And I love the photos... drawing with a friend outside the hut, and the orange turban. The parrots and flowers and fruit all bursting wonderful colors. Quite a contrast to the snow and mud of Maine. So sorry you were all sick; hope everyone is healthy again. I bet you're all sleeping right now. I had to check the time difference. It's after 5 in the afternoon here, and almost 3 in the morning where you are. And I bet Penny and Addison just finished dinner in Spain. John and I are envious. Maybe we'll have to go on an adventure of our own soon. Be well and give my love to Meg and Freddy. Love, Liz :)

Judy Dear Romy, Billy and I are enjoying your blog entries about your Indian adventures! Your writings along with the photos make an interesting colorful story of your journey to "farthest India". So sorry to hear you and your parents were all sick, but very happy to know you are now healthy again and we hope you stay that way. Glad to hear Penny and Addison arrived in Spain. You will all have many wonderful stories to bring home. I'm just eating breakfast here in Maine and since it is early evening in India, you must be having dinner - hope it's good! All our best wishes to you and your Mom and Pop as your adventures continue. Judy and Billy PS: It's cold here, there is still snow on the ground but the sun is shining!

IM Dear Romy, What an adventure you are on! What a pleasure to read about it! Thank you for sharing all the sights and sounds of India. It all sounds so exciting and wonderful. Even the difficult parts at least are some new uncharted territory I'm sure you will always remember. Glad everyone is nice to you all and are being inviting. What wonderful animals and flowers it sounds like you are seeing. Do you like the spicy Indian food? What about the saris? Have you tried one on? Hope you are all feeling better and can't wait to see more photos when you get back. Yamis (James) and Mrs Mooks say hi! Say hi to Meg and Freddy from us. Enjoy the rest of your trip! Love, Ilse
Kati I am fascinated by the women-only cars on the metro. Do you and mom ride in them or do you choose the everybody cars? I am also someone who doesn't deal with changed plans very well. I am glad you're able to be flexible. That's such an important quality in life.
