Hello, I'm sorry I couldn't write to you but we were all sick. First Pop and Mom, Pop was still recovering but Mom was better and I was recovering then Mom got sick then I got sick again. And now Mom's better and I am recovering. Sometimes I wish I was at home at Maine and had nothing to do with India but I really love it here. There's this really nice lady. Her name is Mrs. Singh. And she evidently likes me! She gave me a scarf because I wrote her a note and she gave me a rose cause Mom said I liked them. And she said she'd go work at Chase's Daily and help with the Indian dinner. Just because she asked me if she should help at Chase's Daily and I said "that would be helpful probably." Her cooking was really good. And Pop learned something.
And about this place, we stayed in a mud hut! It has a straw roof. And guess what?! I got the better bed! Because their bed was on concrete but my bed was on wood. And I had a better headrest. I also made friends with some Indian kids. And what was surprising was that they could speak English very well but they didn't no how old they were. We drawed in my notebook and now it's all filled up! But I sort of wish it wasn't. But I still have a memory and a experience and now I know how they draw. I miss home but I'm having fun here!

Phoebe Chase Hi Romy-cake! You look great in front of that mud hut. I love the white decoration around the door. Everyone here at the apartment is missing you but I am really enjoying your blog. I am seeing India vicariously through your photos and posts. We had a snow storm here. There were two snow days! Sylvie has been enjoying it quite a bit. She loves to stick her head straight in and she rolls and she races so fast all around. I think I will take her out right now. Miss you, love from Phoebe
Penny Hi Goosey! I am so glad to hear from you again. I am hoping that means that you are getting better. You have been having lots of fun adventures, even though you haven't felt tip-top. A mud hut with a straw roof! It is so cute! I can't wait to see the drawings that you and your new friends made. Tomorrow, Addison and I fly away to Spain! I am so excited! We have worked hard at Chase's Daily all week, fixing the place up. Now, I will pack and clean this house. Much, much love to you and your Mom and Pop. Penny
Iris Dear Romy, I hope you feel better soon. I wish i could meet Indian kids. love, Iris
Jaco Hi Romy, Jasper and I were looking at your pictures. What an adventures! Did you like riding the elephant? Did you get to ride a camel? If you are back home you should ask Chris about riding a camel, his butt looked just like the monkey's red butt afterwards. When Chris and I were in India we were sick a lot too, happenly you do not really remember that too much later, but you will remember riding the elephant and all the nice people! Enjoy the rest of your time! Jaco and Jasper
