jessica Wow! Romy you've had such an amazing adventure. I can't wait to hear every detail when you come home. xoxJessica
Lou Lafage What fun, I want to hear about the hill station. It is latew spring now in Vero Beach, the flowers and shrubs are in full flowered bloom. Cooper just had his last hunt and isready to go north. See you soon. Lou
Steffany Wow. Time goes fast and you guys have traveled far. England still has the cold wind and last weekend it snowed everyday but it did not stick. It is odd considering last year in March I went swiming in the Thames Estuary. I will look up what mango flowers look like. I am glad you are all ok. I can't believe your trip is almost finished. You will have stories to recall and they wil be colourful and last you a lifetime. Jack and I miss you guys.
Sharon Jones Romy, I read all of your blog and it gave me a good picture of your trip. I think your writing is quite descriptive. The way you write sounds like the way you would talk so it makes me smile! I am glad you are back after a wonderful trip!
re: New Delhi, India, IndiaDanielle Laroche Marshall Romy: It has been great to learn about your fun adventures. We should have street spice markets in the US, they are so colorful and fragrant, they really make your senses come alive! Writing a blog is a great way to treasure your memories. Miss you and all of the rest of the family, Dani
re: New Delhi, India, IndiaLiz Bowen By the way... it's kind of been "two-for-the-price-of-one." While traveling around India with you, I've also been treated to tasty meals and images of sheep falling off steep green hills in Spain. Don't you think Penny should continue a blog of her own?
re: New Delhi, India, IndiaLiz Bowen Hi, Romy. I'll miss reading your blogs! I like going to my computer with anticipation to see if you've put out any new descriptions or photos of your adventures. But then again... it'll be nice to see you and your family back in town. Safe travels. Love, Liz :)
re: New Delhi, India, IndiaPenny Hi romy A big travel day for your family! Exciting to be going home--I hope you can sleep a lot on the plane. We are in a town on the northern coast of Spain in the basque region. Very beautiful with green hills so steep you wonder why the sheep don't fall off them! We ate two nights at a family restaurant that was so delicious. Last night the little daughter was hanging out in the kitchen--guess who I was thinking about when I saw her? We went to an amazing art museum in the beautiful city of bilbao and saw an exhibit by Maine artist Alex Katz ...Maine in Spain! We are not on the plain but it is raining here this morning. We will be driving to a new place so it is fine. Hug everyone at home for me. Love penny

re: Ramnagar, IndiaKati I love your hat in this picture! You look like you could be from another era.
re: New Delhi, IndiaKati The Monkey Palace sounds like something right out of a story book. I also am just so thrilled about the elephant riding. Yes, yes, and yes.
re: Jaipur, IndiaKati I am fascinated by the women-only cars on the metro. Do you and mom ride in them or do you choose the everybody cars? I am also someone who doesn't deal with changed plans very well. I am glad you're able to be flexible. That's such an important quality in life.
re: New Delhi, IndiaKati Oh dear, I am so glad that everyone is okay. I hate that feeling of impact and then of trying to figure out how to proceed. I have never been in a mango grove but I want to be. Cool air, flowering trees, tea in the morning... it all sounds fabulous. It is cool here in Chattanooga, 40 this morning, and today is cloudy but many things are in bloom and it is supposed to be in the 60's this weekend. Perfect!
