Saturday 25 November 2006 - Manly
First trip to Darling Harbour then ferry to Manly! Sat outside and just watched Sydney go by, very slow ferry much to the annoyance of Sarah who thinks Seacat is the way forward!
Got to Manly Beach where Paul went for a swim. Dinner then back to North Ryde for a night in the RSL (Australian version of the British Legion!) Yeah ok, full of old people but we got to play keno (kind of like the lottery!) and drink very cheap drinks!! Saturday night band were very good!
Sunday 26 November 2006 - Sightseeing
First proper trip to the Opera House where they were setting up for the Australian Idol final! Then walked through the Botanic gardens getting a little lost and over to Kings Cross to meet Duncan, Ellie's old work mate. Had a few drinks in O’Malley’s with Dunc and his mates - mostly from the Wirral!
Went for dinner in Wagamamas.
