Palermo

Today we visited Palermo, which is a district of BA which is incredibly wealthy and has a number of idyllic botanical and Japanese gardens, amazing apartments on tree lined avenues, European style Deli's and some really cool boutiques that easily compete with best in Europe and the US. Also in the same area are tons of upmarket bars which in the day are home to numerous young designers looking to catch a break and at night are packed with a more sophisticated cliental. It kind of reminds me of sophisticated healingly in the sun with a buzzing atmosphere.

You can definitely see why this is the most fashionable and expensive area to live in the city...pretty much the same prices as the UK. Fortunately we are not on holiday and travelling, so Rina's spending is restrained…much to her disappointment!!!
