La Boca

On our third day in the city we went to La Boca which is a unique area of BA. Other than being home to Maradona's Boca Juniors of which they are very proud, it is possibly the most vibrant and uplifting area of City we have visited. The buildings are painted in loud contrasting colours, reds, yellows and blues, there is alluring tango music playing in the streets and loads of local art collections sold both in shops and on the street. The only thing that got to us was the constant barrage of reps trying to bundle tourists into their restaurants which made it feel a little like a British holiday resort, but on the whole it was definitely well worth the visit.
