Happy Fourth of July everyone! Surprisingly it is just another day here in Espana. To celebrate we had New York style pizza for lunch and Burger King for dinner. They serve beer with the extra value meal! ( Spain 1, USA 0) The majority of the days was spent in the cathedral. It is the third largest in the world. The highlight inside was the tomb of Christopher Columbus. The cathedral has a bell tower that is one of the few remnants of the mosque that sat on the sight before it. We climbed up to the top and it gave us a great view of the city. We also visited a museum that used to be a house of a wealthy countess. She collected a lot Roman art (floor tiles, mosaics, coins, busts) and it was displayed throughout the house. Tonight we walked along the river and then turned in. Tomorrow we are off to Cordoba.
