Seville is hot. It probably as hot as it is back home. Fortunately they plan for this by creating narrow streets with a lot of shade. They also close everything down for the hottest part of the day. Today we we walked over to the Plaza De Espana. It is a building left over from a world's exposition in 1929. It has ceramics that represent all the areas of Spain. What I liked about it was that it doubled for the planet Naboo in Star Wars Episode II. So not only have we been to Spain, but we have been to Naboo! We then walked over to the Alcazar of Seville. It is a Moorish influenced castle in the middle of Seville, but was built by a Christian king in the 14 century. It was quite impressive. We spent about 4 hours walking through the ornate rooms and gardens. We then took a siesta and then walked over to a plaza that had this very modern canopy over it. Under it they had a museum of Roman ruins that were found when excavating the sight. We also went up on the canopy to get some great views of Seville. for dinner we found an over priced restaurant . Luke and I finished off the night with some ice cream and a walk around the cathedral as dusk was setting in.

Darlene Great to get a guided tour. I like reading about what you are seeing and experiencing. I didn't know there was a Seville StarWars connection.
