We made it out of Madrid this morning after a late night watching the Spain / Italy match. Luke and I went to a restaurant across the way and Ellie and Amy stayed in the hotel. Luke and I both enjoyed watching the match with Spaniards. They were fired up as Spain won 4-0. This morning we had a 10 am bus to Seville. It took 6 and a half hours to get here and I developed a cold over night. I think I blew my nose a hundred times on that bus. We made it to Seville without incident and found our hotel. The first thing I did was find a pharmacy and get some Spanish cold medicine. It seems to be working Ok. This evening we took a stroll around Seville. It is a lot smaller than Madrid and has a lot more tourists (so we fit right in). The area we are in is characterized by very small alley- like streets that open into small plazas. We ate and then turned in. Tomorrow we will check out the cathedral and the alcazar.
