I (Rob) was able to finally get a run in today. I got going around 8 AM and the city was very quiet. It was a very nice run. I got back and my family was still sleeping. They finally got up and we got breakfast and headed over to the large Parque De El Retiro. It is very similar to Central Park in NYC. They have a large lake there so we rented a rowboat and rowed around for a while. Ellie was adamant that she did not want to do it, but by the time we were done she was laughing and having a great time. We then had lunch and hit their natural history museum. It was fine, but it was only keeping me from my ultimate objective: the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. Over the years I have grown to love European soccer. It boiled over this year to where it may have become an obsession. The Bernabeu is home to Real Madrid CF, one of the most successful teams in the world. It is like Cowboy stadium in the US. We took a tour that took us all over the stadium. We all (even Amy) were impressed. Next we got our tickets for Seville on Monday and went to an Italian restaurant for dinner.
