Saturday Our last day in the UK ( until next time) and the cloud and rain cleared to a half way reasonable day. After we dropped the car off in York, we spent the day just wandering, taking in the sights. Sunday Well another day on the road. We arrived in Callander without too much trouble. It's a great spot, small village and the B&B is up on the hill overlooking the town. Well a very pleasant stay in Inveresk. Did Edinburgh in a day, first the public transport bus ride, then the castle, dinner in a pub and home on the bus. Inveresk is a beautiful town, so much so that Oliver Cromwell decided to come and stay on his way through Scotland, blowing up every second castle that he came across.
