Hey, so its been a week or so since we updated what we have been up to, and we have been busy in a good and a bad way!! At the start of last week we planned to go whale watching on the tuesday at Surfers Paradise, however I had tooth ache badly and didnt get any sleep so Laura was on the phone trying to find me a dentist, cancel the tour and buses that where booked etc.....which she managed to do thankfully so we didnt lose any money!!

That meant going whale watching the following day instead, and then continue on down into Byron Bay that night!! So up we pitch at 1.30pm for our lovely leisure cruise along the canals of the rich and the famous of Surfers seeing Jackie Chans house, Ian Thorpe etc. We then hit the open sea...now remeber I work offshore for a living on boats...and I though it was rough!! it was very bad, but me and Laura felt fine, or as fine as you could feel!! The worst part was we didnt see any whales, so we had to go back later in the week!!!! (no photos from this trip as I was holding onto the boat for dear life)
