G'day folks. We finally made it to Oz after another long flight. Queensland is suffering from a drought at the minute and there are water restrctions in place. The temperature hasnt dropped below 30C since we got here. its amazing. Its a really beautiful city. very laid back atmosphere. We went exploring on our first day and chilled out in the botanic gardens just watchin the world go by. We have also visited the south bank parklands and chilled in the city for a bit. The highlight so far was visiting lone pine koala sanctuary (biggest in the world) where we got up close and personal with lots of aussie creatures. We both held a koala. photos will follow. and we also got to feed kangaroos which was an amazing experience. they are such gentle animals. We both had a fantastic day that we wont be forgettin any time soon. Yesterday we went to your typical aussie bbq and pool party which was fun although the drink is more expensive than back home so we didnt go too crazy. We are here for another week so lots more things we want to do before we leave so we will update again next week. We will try uploadin photos on Monday.

we're also both chuffed to bits with hibs beatin rangers. yay. (its hard work keepin up with the football when the kick offs are in the middle of the night)
