Today was a very family orientated day. We went for a meal with some distant relatives of mine and I fell in love with the accent even more. Im still amazed by the prices here, I had a huge meal for just over 2 pound (the pound sign doesnt exist on this computer) and I also found out that you can buy a JD and coke for 85p!
We then travelled to Cape Town where we visited the house which my great great great grandfather built and lived in.
On our journey back to somerset west from cape town I came to two conclusions;
- Capetonian drivers are crazy - they beep their horns for no reason and pull infront of you without warning. and...
- Capetonian pedestrians are just as crazy - people were walking down the middle of the highway trying to sell things to passing cars.
We saw some amazing sights today including mountains and the sea which looked really violent but amazing non-the-less. I took quite a few photos but as Im using a dial-up connection it takes a long time to load so those will have to be seen when I'm home.
