Weather is still good! Hasn't been a drop of rain for the entire trip (so far) although rain is forecast for tomorrow so we will see. Had a nice buffet breakfast outside which we enjoyed. All of the hotels make an omolette to order so you specify the fillings and they cook it for you while you wait. After breakfast went for a walk along the beach to see what other establishments were around. Lots of small local food stalls and restaurants so we will check some out before we leave. Lisa had a swim in the East Vietnam Sea which felt similar to Tassie water temperature. Came back to the resort and lazed by the pool most of the morning, talking to a woman and her daughter (adopted from Vietnam)from Ireland who we first met at the Moonlight Hotel in Hue. Also met a chap who used to work at Utas! Small world! We also keep bumping into Hans who we met on the Halong Bay trip. He is going to Ho Chi Minh City today so we won't see him again. Had lunch at a nice little local eatery next door although the power was off and the beer wasn't as cold as usual. (new record low price for beer-VND 15,000 about 0.85cents)Hope the chicken that we ate for lunch hadn't gone off! The people were lovely and we chatted to them for an hour or so. Back to Hoi An on the shuttle again tonight. Tomorrow is our last full day before returning to Australia.
