Firstly, yaaaah I made it to Germany.
So obviously my flight was long and eww, as expected. But I had a few problems on the way.
China Problems:
I had to change planes twice in China. The first time was in Shanghai. Soooo little direction as to where to go etc. When we got to Shanghai, People were filling out visa forms and things, and one stupid traveler told me that I would need a visa because iI will be doing a double entrance to China... Sooo I freaked out and was like what the hell, but then turns out I didnt need one. So off I went to immigration, where I was taken by a man to some official booth with no explanation, but he took my passport and things (seriously by this time they had already given my fifty tickets and bits of paper to get into china and on my flight) and he eventually stamped my passport and gave it back. I think I walked about 5km in the Shanghai airport to get back on the same plane I just cam off =/ how stupid. I can't believe they made us get off the plane and go through immigration and everything just to get back on the same plane!!
Okay so I was on the plane to Beijing where i change flights to go to munich. I was hoping that Beijing would be easier than Shanghai. So much for hoping, it was the most terrible experience. So we get off the plane, like onto the runway... and there are lines of security guards... I seriously thought they were kidnaping us all, it was so odd and I wasn't the only one who thought this was all very strange. They cramped all the people from the flight onto two small buses and drove us to god-knows where. Then I stuck with these people I thought were going to Munich, and they said we had to collect our luggage, and I was soooo confused and I stood there stupidly looking for my luggage, obviously it didnt come. I had Half an hour until my flight left! and I had no idea where to go, there were soo many mixed messages from people. So this man told me I had to go to level four and sooo confusing to find that level, seriously. I ended up outside on the road and like other places too. Eventually I found it and found the AirChina desk to ask where I go, they stupidly told me to go through the glass doors and to run because I was going to miss my flight! So I went out the glass doors which took me outside and I was back on the road!?? Then I turn around and see the lady running to me and she said to follow her. She took me back inside and took me the complete opposite direction to where she told me to go... then I go through security down an escalator and end up in a train terminal.. what the hell!? I ask some attendants from another flight service where I go and they said just get on the next train. I literally had 10 minutes before my flight left... check-in closes 10 minutes before the flight leaves and I was so stressed. the train came and I was on it for about 10 minutes... I had to run 3km (not even joking) around the stupid airport to find where to go. Thank-god for my x-country skills! Pretty sure I had an asthma attack combined with an on-going panic attack! When I finally reached the check-in point there was a huge line and me thinking that I had missed my flight ran to near the front of the line and asked a girl what flight she was going on and it was the same as mine... the flight had been delayed THANK-GOD! so I stuck with her in the line, my face was soooo red and I was drenched in sweat =/ I swear I had never been so hot, out of breath and shakey! She was really good with me but and clamed me a bit... then we went through the passport check and through the doors and would you guess, were are shoved onto another bus! But it was okay I met a really sweet Austrian guy, who calmed me down and told me to breath ahahaha, and we talked about farms and teddies (because I had the teddy that Grammy gave me in my arms, haa must have looked so stupid!)and I stuck with him until we got on the plane. He had just been to Japan on a kind of spiritual journey.
Anyway after that things were alright and for once in my life I didn't care about turbulance or the plane crashing haha.
I arrived in the morning so even though I was really tired I stayed awake... I had a whole day ahead of me! And soooo many people to meet and words to learn.
Missen-Wilhams, where I am living is such a beautiful little village! Everyone knows everyone and are nice and friendly. The family I am with are great! Honestly could not have asked for better. The two older girls are great and the parents are lovely!! So too are the kids, they are adorable - all of them! And there is another boy that Heidi looks after during the day while his parents work, he cries alot and is only 1 year old. He is gorgeous too and his dad lived in Australia for a year so I can speak to him in English.
THe kids don't speak English and I don't speak German, but it is okay. We can still often understand each other, but they always talk to me in German and I am not sure if they understand that I have NO IDEA what they are ssaying!! Haha. I just say yaaaa yaaaa and smile or laugh ha.
So far I have:
Fed the donkeys down the road with Eva
Chased a Katze that was wondering in the paddock near the Donkeys
Visited a horse farm down the road
Played with the Autos with Gino
Been to the pool with Alex and her friends
Been to a wedding (soo pretty!) - in a small church on top of a grassy hill :)
Visited Alex's friend across the road to see her baby Katzen!!!
