So Last night, I went with the older girls; Steffi and Nici and Nici's boyfriend to a small town called 'Isny'. There was a festival on, kind of like a mini Oktober fest. The way I relate it to Australia is how each town has their annual 'show' then 'Sydney Royal Easter Show' is like 'Oktober Fest'. All four of us piled into Steffi's dodgy little two door car! It was hilarious trying to all squish in!!

So there was a Bier Hall, which was cool. There was people dressed in traditional Bavarian clothes and Bier Maids! And a traditional Bavarian/Allgau band playing on stage. There we drunken people standing on seats arms around each other, swaying with bier in hand and singing. It was a great atmosphere :) I had one 'small' bier, but they are sooo massive! Except I tried something new... not only did I have bier but it was bier with lemonade!? Yeah strange.. its like that over here they drink bier with lemonade and wine with water or lemonade... I can't really reccommend bier with lemonade.. its actually quite sickening and eww. But wine with water is okay (I had this at the wedding, check previous posts :))

There were also Rides at the festival and we went on one which was pretty awesome, it went up in the air and spun around, I should have got a photo of it... but i didnt. The ride went for longer then they do in Australia and Steffi and I sat together and the wind from the ride was blowing our hair into our mouths haha.

Anyway, It was a good night. Today I am going to Oberstaufen to see Claus (a friend of mums) for his wife's birthday. I will post about it when i get back :) .x.
