Zalaegerszeg

Furcsa volt 6 év után újra hazalátogatni. Annyi minden megváltozott!!! Ahol régen erdő, mező volt, most nagy bevásárlóközpontok tátongnak. Sok házat lebontottak, helyére újakat építettek. Szerencsére a mi házunk környéke nem sokat változott. Viki életében először volt liftben és napról-napra jobban élvezi - mindig ő akarja megnyomni a gombot. Neki legjobban a terasz tetszik, ahol a panelek közötti résen tud kikukucskálni. Élvezi hogy felülről láthatja a kocsikat, buszokat és az embereket. A házunk előtt mindig nagy a forgalom és mindig történik valami. Én is mennyi időt töltöttem kiskoromban az ablakban meg az erkélyen! Jó volt együtt vacsorázni és anyu megint - mint mindig - a kedvencemet főzte: gulyást meg hortobágyi palacsintát. Móni meg sütött egy finom csokis tortát. Sokat beszélgettünk, nevettünk meg játszottunk a gyerekekkel. Norbinak meg Móninak két kislányuk van, Emese 3 éves és Noémi 8 hónapos. Mennyi mindenről lemaradtunk ez alatt a 6 év alatt! Mindenki megváltozott - megöregedett, meghízott - csak mi nem. :-). Viki meg Emese jól megértik egymást és sokat játszanak együtt. Vacsi után "körbesétáltam" a lakásban és azon gondolkodtam, hogy tudtam felnőni egy ilyen pici lakásban. 4. emeleten, 55négyzetméteren, öten.A szobám ill. az "én felem" újra lett tapétázva, igy eltűntek a poszterek ami a fal minden négyzetcentiméterét beborították. Eltűnt a nagy csillagászati térkép is. Milyen nagy öröm volt amikor rábukkantam a volt kedvenc együttesem matricájára a ceruzatartó hátulján! A lakásban mindenhol cserepes virágok - anyu egyik hobbija. Viki szeretne futkorászni, de nincs hol. Mire kettőt lép, átéri a lakást. Aznap este megint jót aludtunk. Egyszer-kétszer felébredtem és hallgattam az autók, buszok moraját ami megint elálmosított.Másnap elsétáltam anyuval a városközpontba. Szép város lett Egerszeg. Mindenhol virágok, új épületek - a régiek tatarozva vagy gondosan rendben tartva. Egy ismerős arccal sem találkoztam rövid sétánk alatt. Kedd reggel elvittük Vikit meg Emesét a piacra. Vettünk málnát, barackot, banánt - ami jelenleg a legolcsóbb gyümölcs!! - meg vettünk kukoricát is. Viki alig várta hogy hazaérjünk és megfőzzük. A legtöbb délutánt a szőlőben töltjük. Itt is sok a munka de jól esik kint lenni és dolgozni. Viki meg Emese sokat szaladgál egész délután - fel a dombon, le a dombon. Valamikor régen - réges-régen - én is ugyanezt csináltam. Mennyi szép emlék fűződik ehhez a helyhez! A kezdeti csapadékos enyhe nyári időt felváltotta a száraz forróság. Most már vagy négy napja nagyon meleg van és ezekben az emeletes házakban szinte kibírhatatlan a meleg. Tegnap is 35 fok volt és úgy döntöttünk hogy lemegyünk a Balatonra. Balatonfenyvesre mentük, ahol olyan sokat nyaraltunk. De ott is sok minden megváltozott. Azért jó érzés volt 20 év után visszalátogatni. Viki olyan mint egy kis béka. Szereti a vizet és igaz úszni még nem tud de azért egyedül akar játszani a nyakig érő vízben. Kapott mind a két lány egy úszógumit ami megkönnyítette a lubickolást.Tegnap elmentünk meglátogatni Nagymamámat aki szegény nagyon beteg. Idősek otthonában lakik egy somogyi kis faluban. Most már annyira rosszul van hogy ne tud felkelni sem. Amikor beléptünk felcsillant a szeme. Nagyon szeretett volna beszélni de nem tudott mert nagyon álmos volt és néhány percen belül el is aludt. Ott álltunk Norbival és fogtuk a kezét -még Emese is odajött megfogni a kezét. Mikor utoljára itthon voltunk, még ő főzött nekünk ebédet, most meg tehetetlenül fekszik - és én tehetetlenül nézem. Szomorú. Furcsa hogy itt már reggel 4:30-kor már világos van és este 9:30-kor még mindig nincs sötét. Így legalább vacsi után elmehetünk sétálni. Tegnap este elmentünk fagyizni - hú de finom volt! Szóval, így telnek a napok. Sokat beszélgetünk, nevetgélünk és nézzük a gyerekeket, hogy játszanak együtt. Testvéremet nem sokat látom, mert sokat dolgozik. Két nap múlva megyünk vissza Fótra, utána meg Göncre. Zegre is majd visszajövünk egy hétre, amikor ő is szabin lesz.

ZalaegerszegCan't believe how many things have changed in the last 6 years. Old houses are demolished, big shoppingcentres gazing at us from every corner of the town,Lots of floweres and nicely maintained parks, playgrounds, shopping molls, parking houses.... but to be honest the changes are for the better. Luckily nothing has changed arund our block (of flats). It was Viki's first time in an elevator. She liked it very much. It is her "duty" to press the buttons whenever we use it. It seems like the flat shrunk since I saw it last - or rather I got fat. I still wonder how on earth could we live in such a small place. 4th floor, 55m⊃2; (1 bedroom) for 5 people. Viki has to be careful when she wants to run around, it takes justa few steps to reach the opposite wall of the flat. Living in a highrise is community living on the highest level. You know about every aspect of each one of your neighbour's life. When they are having a shower,using the toilet, having a fight, which channel they are watching on their TV....(I leave the rest to your imagination). I remember when I was a kid the neighbour under us used to give us a "signal" or rather warning when we were to loud - she knocked on her celing (our floor) wit a broomhandle. We knew we had to be quieter and in turn we did the same to other people. Viki loves the balcony... she loves watching the cars, buses, trucks and people coming and going underneath. It's very busy on the street in front of us. It's a 24/7 traffic that drives Laci mad during the night. It was great to spend time with family again. Piroska's mum cooked a nice meal for the first dinner together. They were all old favourites and - again - we ate much more than we ought to. (It is starting to show by now.) There were long talkes and lots of laughing around the table. We spent some time playing with the children. Next morning we went to the markets and took Viki and Emese with us. They enjoyed shopping for fruit and all the attention they got from old ladies - to try to win "their business". It was good fun. In the evening we took Viki to the playground where she had to learn to line up and wait patiently until it was her turn to use the slide. There is one playground for 4-5 highrises (approx. 500 families per highrise). Laci was sitting on a bench, watching the kids and wondering how kids can grow up like that. Luckily we have a good size property just 30minutes walk from us, where my brother and his partner are growing fruit and veggies. We spent almost every afternoon and evening there in the past week. There is always a lot to do and they appreciated all the help we could give. It was good for us but even better for the kids. Running around, up and down the hill, having a splash in the pool and eating fruit of the trees. Like in the good old days. Once the sun sets it is quite pleasant. Nice to sit back, have a talk while eating a sandwich then walk home. Lately the weather got quite hot (35-36) and it gets unbearable in these flats. My brother decided to take us to a lake called Balaton that is less than an hour drive from our place. We visited my grandma on the way - something I was looking forward to but dreading at the same time. Last time we were in Hungary she cooked us a meal, worked with us in the garden and we had long talks. Now she is in a nursing home, dying. Our visit was short. She is not well at all and it was quite a shock to see her in that state. It was an emotional and a very sad experience. It didn't feel right to go to the beach after that.We went to a place called Balatonfenyves where my grandma used to take us a lot when we were little. I haven't been back there for about 20 years. There were plenty shade under the trees and the water's temperature was perfect. The kids loved it and we did, too. It was good to go for a swim without worrying about sharks, stingers... Viki soon figured out that the water wasn't salty and I couldn't stop her drinking it. At least she drank enough fluids for the day though probably not the right quality. We got home very tired and still managed to go out for an icecream that evening.We still haven't got used to how early the sun rises and how late it sets. At 4:30 am it is daylight and at 9:30pm it is still not dark. Anyway, we will be off toBudapest tomorrow and to Laci's parents place on Sunday.Hope you are all keeping well!
