After a long but fab flight..we landed in Bangkok. A little worse for wear after a few too many after dinner drinks, we are in good spirits (excuse the pun)!!!

Upon arrival at our hotel, we are told that we have been upgraded (maybe they felt sorry for us!!). We had a power snooze and were awoken by a knock at the door only to be greeted by a golf towel and a box of choccies (yum..yum) as a honeymoon pressie. We decided that we had to eat the chocs before they melted (only reason honest!!) and wash them down with a beer by the pool.

It was a little cold (36 degrees) so we we headed inside to see what was on offer. We stumbled across a bar in the hotel with a live band. Over another beer we decided that we are officially converted from SuperBock to Singah beer!!!

Hot hot hot!! Our second day mission was to drink lots (of water!!!) and stay away from the red shirts! We ended up at the Grand Palace only to be put in another tuk tuk which promised many amazing delights (his petrol tank). We saw the buddah..and the next six stops were a combination of tailors, jewelers, souvernouirs ect (in exchange for petrol vouchers for the driver - he was happy..!) Finally we went to a market to test our bargaining skills..which were a little rusty but overall not bad!

Back to the hotel and a test of the pool...followed by a lovely dinner to make you sweat even more! We will see how the stomach is tommorow...

Our vision for the day = importing tuk-tuks to foz as a taxi service to be named hagnis...(can you see it yet??!!!)
