Louise Dixon Hi you two! Glad to hear you survived Bangkok OK and are now hopefully in less troubled parts. I'm sure it's all fascinating. Have been to Bangkok but not travelled anywhere else there so shall look forward to seeing your pikkies. Just got off a 27 hour train journey from Cape Town to Joburg last night, so know what you mean about not exactly high speed....keep well. xxxxx

super Dad Hey guys, I hope that you enjoyed your dinner of CATFISH? Did you not read my comments on the Wels Catfish that reside in the Mekong? Be prepared for the revenge by their cousins - as well as the giant roaches in the bathrooms! Well, soon you will be back in relatative civilisation - by Lao standards - electricity four hours a day, earth clossets and basic rations! Semaphore flags do not constitute a mobile phone network but hey it beats smoke signals into a cocked hat! You guys must be reaching maxed-out on Buddist Shrines and temples - check out the ping pong experts in Lauang Prabang - they may provide a diversion of sorts! The trouble with the Red Shirts in Bangkok is residing after they have been throwing grenades at each other - compramise may be on the cards. Only another 48 days and you will be back in genuine civiliation and chilled Superbock. Singah slingers Hellllooooo, Fab to hear from you..would love it if you could visit but we do charge a fee of case of beers now from all visitors ha ha ha! Airports except from Lisbon are: Porto - in the north around 220km north (great for port lodges, good architecture etc) Bus/train available to us. Faro - in the Algarve south of Portugal. Bus or car around 5 hours (touristic, great beeches, lots of brits). Our village is called Foz do Arelho which is near Caldas da Rainha. Lisbon is closest airport only 1hour north. Have fun and let us know what you come up with. (we are back on the 10th June) Jen & Mr Singah x

Super Dad Hope that you are having a great time and not dragged off into the wilderness by the native cannibals who live along the Mekong Delta - the tour company didn't mention these guys - damn, that is so typical! The fish in the Mekong also are giant man / woman eating Catfish known as Wels Catfish - just don't go for a swim in the river and mind the Salt water Crocs. The crocs are only second to the giant bum biting roaches who reside in the Asian toilets - better we don't say any more! Have a great holiday aand keep taking the pills. love Dad xxxxx

Tommy Hey there!! Good to hear your having fun in Bangkok!!! That's a crazy and lovely place :-) Btw, can u guys advice of the name of your town in Portugal? I am trying to find flights etc for paying you a visit when u're back. Let me know the name of the city and also some airports except Lisbon.
