Wednesday 21st March Journal entry brought to you by (a forgetful) Tami Today was good. We got up really really late and went to the Greyhound office to sort our bus tickets up to Newcastle. We booked them for Monday morning, so that Sophie could go to the Neighbours do. We then walked to the Australian Museum, only to find that we had just under two hours to see it all. We didn’t think this would be anywhere near enough time, but in actual fact there were only really two interesting sections so we both looked round the parts we were interested in and then met up. Sophie was fascinated by the Aboriginal section whereas I only spent about 30 minutes in there and more time in the Skeleton section. Did you know that sharks and rays have no bones? Their skeletons are completely made of cartilage. Or did you know that a bird’s feathers weigh more than it’s skeleton? It’s so interesting. Anyhoo after learning all we could in the time, we headed back to the hostel and had dinner. Then we probably went to bed. You know what, it’s really rubbish but that’s all I can remember from Wednesday, I have hardly anything in my journal either. Sorry…. Guess it just wasn’t the most eventful of days.
