G'Day everyone,

Havent left it long to write this time!! We have had a really good day today slightly different to what we had planned. Wade came in and woke us up at 6.30am and asked if we fancied tagging along with him to go get his mum who lives over on North Stradbroke island, so we decided to get our lazy selves outta bed and we went along. We drove up to Cleveland where we drove onto the ferry which took us across the bay to Stradbroke island. The views from the ferry were very pictoresque and the sea was so calm. We saw a couple of tiger sharks in the water and some of the smaller islands. Once on Stradbroke we drove through to Amity point and picked up wades mum, from there he took us on a mini tour of the island where we saw some koalas. We also paddled on a lovely private beach where the sand was so white!! we saw a sea eagel and its nest. After amity point we drove to point lookout which is the most well known part of the island. Wade showed us all the best sights as we have decided to spend the weekend there!! After Stradbroke we came back and walked the dogs down into Bulimba for a bit of exercise. Also have some very exciting news, this afternoon we have booked flights and accommodation and we are spending 2 nights on Bondi beach down in Sydney, both of us are so excited!! For the next 3 days we are working solidly in the hospital so wont have much to report. We shall update you all once back from our weekend in paradise on Stradbroke Island.
