Hey everyone another busy and funfilled day for us!!! after writing our blog lastnight we ended up at the bottom of the garden watching the possoms in the trees which was really good they look so sweet and this eve they took the fruit from our hands. We visited our placement today to check how long it wld take us, the journey was only 35mins and the hospital has its own bus depot!! we went inside and met some of the staff they were so nice and were amazed that we were overseas students, the hospital was so different from england looked much nicer and it was so big and inside and out was so colourful with lots of pictures and kiddies characters! after visiting the hospital we headed back into the city for lunch which ended up being an all you can eat chinese which we took full advantage of! after lunch we went and looked around the casino which was huge and we won millions so we're not coming bk lol!!after that we walked to the botanical gardens on the edge of the river, we hired bikes which was so much fun, charlotte being charlotte dropped her bike a few times and got stuck trying to peddle over a little bridge not only that but she dropped her bike and caught her fake nail which split her own nail so she had a lil panic whilst it bled even though she decided to squeeze it even more i came to the rescue with a tissue and a hair tie 2 hold it together, for the rest of the day she held her middle finger infront of her looked so funny bless you charlotte lol mel would of laughed so much glad you saw the funny side of it 2!! this eve we sat down wit our ozzie mum and raquel the spanish student to tortillas which were so nice. for the rest of the eve we have been learning to do tricks and use Cariocas which are spanish balls on string with ribbon and you do all diferent moves with them!! after hitting ourselves in the head and face we got the hang of a few basic moves in the end!! anyway got a really busy day 2moz so off for an early night!! lots of love claire and charlotte xxxxx
