Hey everyone, sorry haven't written for a few days as usual been very busy!! We both worked our last 2 days on wednesday and thursday which went well. we both said our goodbyes and finished our placement at the hospital. On friday we had a nice lay in and got ourselves ready for our night out in the valley. We went to a club called mystique in the valley where we met loads of new people who we spent the eve with and both had a few drinkies lol!! Was a really good night we both finally got to hear and enjoy our favouriter music, at times it almost felt like we were clubbing in england, ended up being a rather late night so come saturday we both knackered and slept till 4pm haha!! Saturday night was the river fire, one of Brisbanes biggest events of the year. There was loads of fireworks, music, stalls and we watched from southbank along with half a million other people!! Fireworks were also let of from the bridges and other points around the city including some of the skyscrapers!! Was a brilliant night and definitely an experience!! On Sunday we went to Dreamworld which is a theme park. We both went on all the rides, one of which took us up 39 storeys (118 metres) then dropped us back down was so scary but glad we did it (twice), we also saw animals and a few shows!! In the evening we had dinner with the family and packed our things for Sydney. We saw our first spiders or tarantulas they were huge and one was sat by charlottes leg was so scary!! This morning we set of for Sydney, the flight only took an 1hr and 15mins, we are currently sat in a cafe overlooking Bondi Beach watching the surfers lol!! We are now going to find our accomodation and get checked in!!
