Today we went to Victor Harbor on the south coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula. It is a really nice little town in a beautiful spot. We walked to the town centre where they have a horse drawn carriage which goes out to a granite island just of the coast. It has been there since the late 1800s and has been going continuously since then, probably not the same horse though. Max didn't want to go on it and that was lucky because it cost $9 per person. Tell them they're dreaming!
We went to a little café and had some bad cake. The kids didn't even want to eat it. Then we went and watched some old folks who were playing lawn bowls. Surprising how many people actually play this game. Every little town we drive through there are people playing lawn bowls, and not just a few, 30-40 people in each place if not more. Better than sitting home doing nothing I guess. Then we had to stop at a playground of course before walking back to the caravan park.
Back at the caravan park we jumped on the jumping pillow and then Patrik went for a swim with the kids in the pool while I made some dinner. I thought it was too cold for swimming.
