It's Monday night, why I'm saying that is a reason unknown to me! So we went to the cinema last night, we swerved Monuments Men as Jen doesn't like the old boy George (Clooney that is, not the weirdo!)
We saw Pompeii instead, a film set in Roman times in the city of Pompeii; which is mainly where the film takes place. It was brilliant, the lead was Kit Harrington (Jon Snow from GoT) - although the outrageously annoying girl 2 seats down was using her phone at one point during the film, then decided she would slowly rip the plastic off her water bottle like a complete and utter moron, me and Jen both shot her one of 'those' looks...she quickly stopped being a ginormous ass for about 5 minutes before she started scrunching the removed plastic in her hands. I thought Jenny was going to go Game of Thrones all over her stupid self!
Anyway, after the film we went to get ice-cream from McDonalds, but not before we're driving towards some traffic lights and out of nowhere all you heard was "BEEEEP BEEP!", a car horn. Jen and myself both shout, in the same manner of bemusement, 'what the f***?!?'....only to realise that jenny had her arms on our own horn, beeping like a madman!
I love you Jen, but that was ridiculous!
So that was last night, and today we checked out of the mould ridden hole and into The Waterfront Lodge...a budget hostel right on the coast. The owners here also own 'Wallys Backpackers' which isn't funny in anyway at all, honestly!
This place is clean, fresh, quiet and well set out! The room is simple but cosy, kitchen is clean and spacious (and we can fit our stuff in the fridge!) and living room looks inviting; a spot of luck rightly deserved, good show!
After checkout we did a few things, bought me a razor to remove my whiskers and came home to do laundry - I know I know; life on the edge. Don't worry parents, we will make sure to calm our activities down!!
Hopefully working from tomorrow onwards, kiwi picking for some good money with the standard Asian contingent found everywhere, lovely people I say!
Update tomorrow to be wrote with blisters, blood or maybe from a massage table!
Bon chance amigos!
