Globetrotting the Pacific
Last night was very muggy, which ended when I was woken by daylight at 05.38 to see everyone in the group getting up. We enjoyed a leisurely breakfast and then a scenic drive through the King Leopold ranges before going for a nice walk at Bell gorge. We finished at a waterfall and swam in the pool at the bottom. After lunch we stopped at a roadhouse where a thermometer showed a sweltering 40 degrees - it felt it too! We did a brief walk at Galvin's gorge where we saw some Aboriginal art, then set up camp at Manning gorge before popping down to the river for a swim. Tomorrow will be another hot day full of walks, wildlife and swimming, oh and don't forget the bugs!
