13th July-
Half of the group left to go rafting this morning... I am staying on board the boat. It was a very slow start to the day enjoyed some breakfast and then sat out on the deck listening to music. After an hour or so of sailing the crew started calling and whistling... A dolphin was swimming next to the boat! I was amazing. The dolphin swam and dipped in and out of the break water at the front of the boat and I was standing right on the edge. Due to the clear water you could see it so well as it swam through the water. I have never seen a dolphin in the wild before and it was magical.... Better than rafting.
After all of the excitement of the dolphin it was time to take a rest... Decided that the upper deck was best for this and was just settling in when the captain starting playing with the ball kicking it around for a few mins and then it bounced overboard... Was funny to watch as the rest of the crew just laughted and the captain just stood in shock. It was then time to stop for a swim and wait for the those that went rafting to return. Enjoy our last 3 course lunch on the bat as we arrived back in split harbor around 230pm. I set off in search of a rental car. Visited a few offices and was no luck... Then one place had a small smart car available which is exactly what I wanted. Went through booking it all and then they realized that the rego expire the day I wanted to hire it on so it wasn't going to be available. Very annoying . walked to a couple more office but they didn't have anything. Finally came across last minute car rental ( very appropriate name for my current level of organistion) and they had a car available. I will pick it up on Sunday morning. With that finally sorted I headed back to the boat for a review of the trip. Then went to dinner with half the group. The boat was rocking very violently in the harbour so decide to go for a walk along the harbour and sat down to enjoy a drink and some wifi. Stayed there as along was a possible before heading back to the boat for our final night.
