We are in lovely Negombo for our last night in this wonderful country.

WoW! we cannot believe 30 days have gone so fast. What have you been doing for the last 30 days? we have been on 2 safaris, seen a gazillion elephants - wild and orphans, seen some of the most beautiful beaches, spotted Blue Whales and generally had just the most amazing time.

Negombo has a small town feel to it but it is quite pretty and had the harbour where the fishermen bring in their catch on their brightly coloured boats. It has a large lagoon, a very pretty canal and a beach. Not only that it is only 20 minutes from the airport so ideal for catching the plane out of here.

We waved Becki & Josh off at the airport today too as they go home to Manchester today. Have a good flight. It has been lovely to spend some time with you both and we both hope you have had a lovely time too.

Our plane leaves at 7am in the morning so got to be out of here by 5am for checkin. not looking forward to that.

Bye bye Sri Lanka - we have enjoyed you and maybe one day.....
