Arrived in Munich in mid afternoon after a seven hour train ride from Berlin. Sad to be saying goodbye to Germany's capital city, but looking forward to Bavaria. Checked in at our hostel, which is very cool.. Around a hundred bunk beds beneath a tent, so it feels like summer camp. Good atmosphere, neat place.

Went to the Lowenbraukeller restaurant for dinner, ate in the beer garden and had a fantastic pork dinner accompanied with a full liter of Lowenbrau beer, which is brewed on site. One of Munich's many historic beer halls.

Spent the evening playing foosball and relaxing. We only really have tomorrow to experience Munich, which is a shame, but we plan to make the most of it!
