Had a great day yesterday. Went back to the hostel after the beach.. We left at the perfect time, just before the rain. Chatted with some folks at the hostel and invited them back to our place for dinner, which ended up being an improvised stir fry. Omar (Canada), Georgie (UK), Anan and Hanan (Palestine) are all interesting people, and we're headed to the beach this morning before Pierre and I catch a train to Marseilles at 1230. Spain is great, we'll be back!

Went and saw the Catedral de Barcelone this afternoon. Breath taking, and it was really cool to hear a mass while we were inside. The 'silence' rule is obeyed much more here than in Paris, and visitors are limited to the area immediately surrounding the entrance. Really nice!

Happiness is a cold San Miguel... On the beach in Barcelona. That is all.

Ola! We've had a good night's sleep after a longer night hanging out at the hostel, meeting more Canadians and watching the Bayern Munchen - Chelsea football game. Well, Pierre and I have lucked out in Barcelona. Our hostel, located a handful of blocks from the Catedral de Barcelona, told us on our arrival this afternoon that they were overbooked. Not to worry, however.. We were promptly given the keys to a 3 bedroom apartment, complete with a large kitchen and living room, all beautifully outfitted with brand new ikea furniture.
