Well, Pierre and I have lucked out in Barcelona. Our hostel, located a handful of blocks from the Catedral de Barcelona, told us on our arrival this afternoon that they were overbooked. Not to worry, however.. We were promptly given the keys to a 3 bedroom apartment, complete with a large kitchen and living room, all beautifully outfitted with brand new ikea furniture. The best part? We're now less than 2 blocks from Sagrada Familia, the crown jewel of Barcelona, which we can see through the trees out the window! And all for the cost of our original hostel booking.. That is, 21 euros each per night. Les rois du chateau, les rois du chateau!
