Sitting in a cafe in Marseilles, enjoying a cappuccino and drying out. We've been exploring the city this morning, but it's cloudy and the rain keeps coming down. The city is gray, and we know it's be a lot more attractive in good weather. Still, it has its charms. The Vieux Port is packed full of beautiful boats, while three forts overlook the entrance. We walked up to the most accessible one, the Fort d'Entrecasteaux and snooped around. Headed to the west side of the Vieux Port this afternoon.. We'd thought about going out to the Chateau d'If but it's rainy and apparently no boats are going out there today. Making the most of it!
