'Be the moment!'

This is a phrase borrowed from a good friend of ours, Nancy, which means to just enjoy everything, make the most of everything and to just 'be in the moment'! And that is what we have done here in the amazing Cook Islands.

It is our last full day here in the Cook Islands, on the beautiful island of Aitutaki. Today we drove round more of the island on our scooter exploring, which was lots of fun. We also ate at a favourite place of ours, the Koru Cafe, where John had an enormous steak sandwich! We spent time at the most beautiful beach on the island, Oatu Beach. And ended the evening eating at our favourite place to eat with the most stunning view, the Flying Boat at the Aitutaki Lagoon Resort. We ended our last evening with a walk along the sand bar there after sunset (see our picture of the day!). We leave for New Zealand tomorrow, where our posts may be a bit more sporadic.

Thanks for following our adventures in paradise. We are very sad to leave but here's to many more adventures in New Zealand! :)
