We were up early to get the airport shuttle bus to the airport for our lunch time flight to San Diego. My back was still bad and the flight was very uncomfy but the plane was gorgeous, really new and very swish, the flight was also only 1 hour 30mins which helped.

Whilst we are in San Diego we are staying with my Grandad's cousin, David and his wife Pauline. David kindly offered to pick us up from the airport so when we landed we got our bags and went to meet him.

Once we were settled back at David and Paulines they took us on a tour around San Diego. We went up a big hill to a memorial where you can look out and see all of San Diego and the beaches etc - it was a really clear day so we got to see quite a bit from all the way up there. From here they took us to a couple of San Diego's beaches, Mission Beach and Pacific Beach - both of which were very nice and we took a walk along the front of them whilst chatting and getting to know each other more.

Pauline cooked us a lovley meal in the evening, they have been so good to us and are a lovely couple and we all get on well. After dinner Pauline and I sat on the bed watching American Idol whilst the men sat in the lounge watching telly.

A great day but very tired!
