Moved into our place yesterday. Relief to get out of the hostel. It was great fun at first but it got annoying very quickly - worst thing was having to walk halfway round the building to get to the toilet in the middle of the night. House is very nice. It is in a place called Surry Hills which is very suburban. We are about 15 mins from the city centre and have a patio and a balcony so I'm loving it! Work is going well, though I have no idea of what I'm doing and trying to blag it. Hmm. Weather over the weekend was fantastic, but it looks like it might rain today! Sydney itself is great - the shopping is great and we have been shopping almost every day! Everyone is really friendly and the city is super clean. It's a bit like being in London but with better weather and cheaper shopping.
