Travels
We made it safely to New Lanark this morning, even after multiple stallouts by our well-meaning bus driver and host, Mrs. Sutherland. The guided tour was more interesting than I thought it would be. Robert Owen's vision, although not perfect, was very much ahead of it's time, paving the way for future societies to observe. The Annie MacLeod experience was a little short, but very informative.
We had a short lunch and were allowed to explore the complex for a bit after visiting a stunningly pristine garden on the roof of the main building. The river was pretty low, so we couldn't really see the famous falls, but the scenery was still very nice.
