I haven't had many chances to blog throughout the week, due to the website being down, but I'll recount my experiences so far. We made it safely to New Lanark this morning, even after multiple stallouts by our well-meaning bus driver and host, Mrs. Sutherland. The guided tour was more interesting than I thought it would be. Robert Owen's vision, although not perfect, was very much ahead of it's time, paving the way for future societies to observe. The Annie MacLeod experience was a little short, but very informative. Not much was planned for today, but we did visit the incredibly cool St. Mary's Close. Our tour guide was enjoyably knowledgable as he guided us through the musty underground streets of the close, explaining the history of the city as well as injecting local myths and legends, making for a very fun experience.

A bit late getting this blog up and running, but here it is. I suppose I'll recount my experiences in Edinburgh so far in a later entry, as right now I have to run off to a Scottish Parliament tour with my fellow travellers.
