Winter Arrives in Creil
Today winter made its presence felt as a cold snap from yesterday turned into sub-zero temperatures and left a frosty layer over everything.
Upon leaving the house at 7:45am for my class (in the dark), I discovered that the cold weather from yesterday marked a turn towards real winter weather as I shivered in my hat, ear mufflers, scarf, jacket, and boots. Everything glittered like frosty diamonds in the street lights and at school the temperature metre said -1 degrees (by 11:30 it had worked its way up to 1 degree). The photos I have hereby added to my 'Creil' album are from just outside my place and were taken at 12:30pm (note that anywhere the sun hasn't touched is still frozen).
Goodbye, warmth - hello Jack Frost!
