Today i went to Bondi beach. it was cold. got there later than i intended cuz i was helping an old man use the computer. he picked up the mouse and said 'whats this device for?' hmmm. anyway, i got a train to bondi junction cuz its quite a long way away, then handily there was a sign saying bus to bondi beach 380 from stop A. so i did that. im pleased becuz it was quite a long way from the station too. it was a nice beach, not that many people there. the sea was dark blue at the back by the horizon, then turquoise at the front with the bits of white wave. very pretty. was warm out of the wind. found a bench in a secluded spot out of the wind, well it was behind a big tree, and i have a shrewd suspicion i may have gone to sleep for a little while. then walked around looking at the shops. there was a nice chicken place that i only ate at becuz it looked like they had nice mashed potato. but wen i had it i think it may not have been mash, but more likely smash. as it didnt look quite right. not bad tho. caught the bus back but didnt know where to say i wanted to get off so i just sed circular quay cuz i knew where that was, by the opera house. so i ended up sittin on the bus for a very long time. no idea how long. perhaps an hr. i didnt want to get off before circular quay even tho i would have been quicker to get off at bondi junction and get a train from there. this was because i had paid for a ticket that was valid to circular quay so i went all the way there. just been asked if i wanted to be a receptionist here. said i was leaving on monday so i couldnt. hmmm. Got to circular quay, still windy and cold so i bought a cup of tea and drank it in a chair next to the water looking at the harbour bridge. it was hard to see tho because they had put a big rail just at the right height for most peoples line of sight to the bridge to be obstruted by a metal pole. was too windy to do much so i had another wander to the opera house then caught a train back. Got to central station and fell off the last step and sprained my ankle. it really hurt. couldnt walk for like 10mins. its ok now tho. tomorrow blue mountains. i have already been to the pickup place as i have 2 be there very early so i wanted to make sure i knew where it was. i do now. 2min walk away. handy.
