So I have realised how boring some of these posts have become and I apologise. I have let myself become stuck in my everyday, regular australian life and not taken advantage of the freedom I have in being in another country. I have been rather lazy and held back the last few weeks expecting almost as if the possibilities I talk about in the name of my blog are just going to become realities without me having to do much.
I just spent the evening with my Godmother's son and his mates. One just got back from a music festival in Queensland and he probably did more in the last few days than I have done in the last few weeks. I am now spurred on to go out and just do things. My Godmother's son told me, after airing my thoughts, that I will regret not doing things while I can - don't put them off, get up and go somewhere if I want, it doesn't matter to anyone else (which is the beauty of travelling alone!). I have to go out and make the possibilities a reality otherwise I will have wasted the £800 to get me here.
With this in mind I am going to write a list fo the things I want to do:
- Go on the Uluru tour I have looked at
- Visit some national parks
- Go to Tasmania - possibly on a boat
- Travel down to Wilson's prom
- Stay in a few youth hostels travelling up through the Goldfields to Swan Hill
- Meet some new people to travel with
I don't have long before Fiji and actually I have a few things planned for this week already but I will throw myself in to my Fijian life and in everything else when I get back.
