Everyone was awake by 730am and we sat outside to have coffee as the sun was shining. We have a picnic table on our caravan site so spent the morning doing schoolwork outside in the sun and had homemade shortbread for morning tea as there is an oven in the camp kitchen. After lunch we went into town to explore. We parked down by the V Wall and walked along the foreshore, which took us forever, as there was a lot to see in the water. The kids kept spotting all sorts of different fish, which were flying out of the water and also spotted an octopus. We had an ice cream and a play at the park and then went into town to get groceries for dinner. Once home Nick cooked beef burgers on the bbq and I made wedges in the oven. We had a quiet night in front of the tv and fell asleep to the sound of the waves again - magic!
