The second day in Ubud, we visited monkey forest park, which has several temples. The place was full of monkeys, which appeared really cute at first, especially the babies. Soon, we realized though that the animals can get pretty aggressive. One of them tried to grab my bag, so I jumped up and started getting away from it. Then it started following other people. At one point, one male monkey jumped on Jn's back, attacking him from behind, and showing its teeth. I was quite scared and screamed. The monkey scratched his arm. One local woman threw something at a monkey to scare him off. After that incident, we were more cautious. Apparently monkeys jumped on people all the time, and they advised not to resist too much. It was quite funny.
